Privacy Policy.

Closer Method ("we", "us", "the closer method", run by Elisabeth Hitz) is committed to clear honest data practices. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it. No dark patterns. No selling your data.

1. Who runs this site

Solo operator: Elisabeth Hitz, based in Barcelona, Spain. Contact: elisabeth@closermethod.com. No corporate parent. No employees. The site is the project.

2. What we collect

Three buckets:

• Email · when you opt into the free download or buy a product. Stored in Kit (ConvertKit) for our nurture sequence + purchase confirmation. Never resold.
• Payment info · handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your order number, email, and country (for tax compliance).
• Analytics · Google Analytics 4 records page views, scroll depth, button clicks. Meta Pixel records ad-attribution events if you arrived via Meta ads. No cross-site personal tracking. You can opt out via the cookie banner.

3. What we don't collect

• Your real name (unless you give it to us in a DM)
• Your phone number (we don't ask)
• Your social profiles (unless you DM us from them)
• Behavioral data from outside this site
• Anything you upload to Claude itself (that's between you and Anthropic · see their commercial terms)

4. How we use your email

• If you grabbed the free download: we send a 7-email nurture sequence over 2 weeks. Each email has a 1-click unsubscribe. We don't share your email with anyone.
• If you bought the install: we send your stripe receipt, the thank-you page link, and follow-ups within the 7-day install thread. No other broadcast emails.
• If you DM us on Instagram (@closermethod) for support: that thread is private between you and Eli. We don't paste your messages anywhere.

5. Brain doc privacy (specific to buyers)

If you purchase the Stack Installer and send Eli your filled brain doc for the day-one audit:

• It stays in your Instagram DM thread with Eli only. No third party sees it.
• Eli reads it to audit your positioning + customize 1-3 skills for your niche.
• Eli does NOT store, share, or repurpose your brain doc anywhere.
• You can delete the message thread after the 7-day install closes if you want.

6. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for:

• Remembering you opted in (so you don't see the form again)
• Remembering you dismissed the slide-in popup
• Google Analytics measurement
• Meta Pixel attribution (only if you arrived from a Meta ad)

The cookie banner at the bottom of the site lets you accept or decline. Declining disables GA and Meta but keeps the opt-in / dismissed state cookies (those are functional, not tracking).

7. Geographic restrictions

This product is not sold to visitors from Russia. Russia visitors are redirected to a blocked landing page. This is an editorial decision (Russia traffic to the site has been overwhelmingly bot-based) and is implemented at the Netlify edge before any tracking fires.

8. Your rights

You can email elisabeth@closermethod.com at any time to:

• Get a copy of all data we have on you (we'll respond within 7 days)
• Have your email deleted from Kit and your Stripe payment history
• Update inaccurate info
• Opt out of nurture emails (or use the 1-click unsubscribe in any email)

If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional GDPR rights · same email, same response window.

9. Third parties we use

• Stripe · payment processing. Their privacy policy.
• Kit (ConvertKit) · email list + nurture sequence. Their privacy policy.
• Netlify · site hosting + CDN. Their privacy policy.
• Google Analytics 4 · site analytics. Google privacy policy.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) · ad pixel (only if you arrived from their ads). Their policy.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we'll post the updated date at the top of this page and email everyone on our list. Last updated: May 21, 2026.
